USTX is backed by dollar-denominated reserve assets and can be minted from USDC across eight networks.

Real-world asset platform tx has launched USTX, its first native stablecoin, giving users a fully backed dollar balance that can be minted, held, and transferred across its ecosystem.

The USTX stablecoin is issued and supported through Brale’s digital asset infrastructure and is backed 1:1 by US dollar-denominated reserve assets.

At launch, users can mint USTX by depositing official USDC from eight supported networks, including Ethereum, Optimism, and Celo. USTX can also be redeemed for USDC on demand.

Mike McCluskey, Co-Founder of tx, said: “With our tx RWA marketplace, starting with US equities, having a native stablecoin is a strategic necessity to consolidate liquidity as we aggregate multiple RWA asset classes to the chain.”

Ben Milne, Brale founder and CEO, added: “With USTX, tx can build the marketplace and customer experience while Brale operates the regulated financial infrastructure underneath it.”

The stablecoin will initially be available through tx’s wallet, with plans for it to extend into the company’s marketplace and real-world asset products. The launch forms part of tx’s broader effort to bring more of its services into a single branded ecosystem.
