Yorkville Acquisition Corp names Steve Gutterman as CEO and Sim Salzman as CFO to lead Trump Media Group CRO Strategy’s digital asset treasury plan.
Yorkville Acquisition Corp. announced the appointments of Steve Gutterman as Chief Executive Officer and Sim Salzman as Chief Financial Officer in connection with its proposed business combination to form Trump Media Group CRO Strategy, Inc.
The business combination will see founding partners Trump Media & Technology Group and Crypto.com, among others, contribute assets to create a digital asset treasury company focused on accumulating the native CRO token of the Cronos ecosystem.

We already had the partners; now we’ve added the team.”
Crypto.com Co-Founder and CEO Kris Marszalek said, “Steve and Sim are proven leaders with deep crypto and capital markets expertise to lead such a historic project. This is the next significant milestone for Trump Media Group CRO Strategy and CRO, and this is still just the beginning of the journey.”
Trump Media CEO and President Devin Nunes added that the project required leadership with expertise in both digital assets and capital markets, noting that “Steve and Sim have a strong track record in both areas.”
Gutterman brings experience spanning start-ups to multi-billion-dollar businesses, including public listings, turnarounds, and over US$2 billion of capital raises. He most recently led Gryphon Digital Mining as CEO and previously held senior roles at ETRADE Financial and ETRADE Bank.

Salzman, who will serve as CFO, is a 20-year finance and accounting veteran with experience across public, high-growth companies and digital asset strategies. He has previously served as CFO at Gryphon Digital Mining.
