This strategic partnership between AIFT and Kyobo DTS underscores a shared commitment to innovation and excellence in cybersecurity.
AI safety and security solutions, AIFT, partnered with Kyobo DTS, a prominent technology services group headquartered in South Korea, to deliver generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) vulnerability assessment and protection solutions in the South Korean market.
As part of this collaboration, Kyobo Life Insurance has participated in AIFT’s most recent fundraising round as a strategic investor.
Following the passage of the Framework Act on Artificial Intelligence Development and Establishment of a Foundation for Trustworthiness (AI Framework Act) on December 26, 2024, organisations in South Korea must identify, evaluate, and mitigate AI-related risks throughout an AI system’s lifecycle.
They also need to implement a risk management system to monitor and address AI safety incidents. AIFT’s Vulcan GenAI Attack and Protect platforms are designed to fulfill these regulatory requirements through proactive security strategies.
At the same time, Kyobo Digital Technology Service will market AIFT’s Vulcan GenAI Attack and Protect platforms, while also developing integrated offerings tailored for South Korean businesses.
Alex Leung, Co-founder of AIFT, remarked, “We see Kyobo Life’s strategic investment and group-wide collaboration as pivotal in bringing GenAI Vulnerability Assessment and Protection solutions to South Korea. Our joint efforts will help organisations anticipate and defend against emerging threats, reinforcing our shared vision for secure, trusted AI.”
Changgi Kwon, CEO of Kyobo DTS added, “Partnering with AIFT strengthens our security offerings in the South Korean market. By integrating AIFT’s Vulcan GenAI solutions, we can better equip our clients with advanced, tailored technologies to safeguard their operations while navigating the evolving regulatory and threat landscape.”
