The Singapore-based AppWorks Demo Day event highlights 16 high-traction startups led by repeat founders.
AppWorks has returned to Singapore with Demo Day #31, unveiling 16 of Southeast Asia’s most scalable startups across artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, Web3, and decentralised physical infrastructure (DePin). Hosted at Guoco Midtown Network Hub, the showcase reflects a regional shift towards experienced founders applying proven technologies to real-world problems with clear paths to profitability.
54% of founders are repeat entrepreneurs, signalling that Southeast Asia’s digital economy is entering a more execution-focused growth cycle. The cohort also highlights repeat founders, including Maibel, a Singapore-based AI wellness companion for women.
Startups such as Hata, Parkit, LegitApp, and HeyMax are building directly for Southeast Asia’s unique gaps in financial access, mobility, authentication, and travel infrastructure. At the same time, Web3 and DePin ventures, including Juic3 Labs, Singular, and Auki Labs are advancing practical decentralised infrastructure across energy, private markets, and spatial computing.
Alyssa Chen, Principal of the Accelerator Arm at AppWorks, said: “Founders in Southeast Asia are entering a more grounded, experience-driven phase, and this cohort reflects that shift. Many have built before, they understand customer pain points, cross-border realities, and what it takes to operationalise AI, IoT, and on-chain systems in the real world.”
AppWorks has identified three verticals shaping Asia’s next decade: Manufacturing AI, Defence Tech, and On-Chain Banking. Across all cohorts, the AppWorks community now includes 653 active startups founded by 2,086 entrepreneurs across markets such as Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
