Disney+ and digital collectibles platform Disney Pinnacle have announced a collaboration to celebrate America’s 250th birthday. The partnership will see the launch of a special “Americana 250” digital collectible set on 4 July, marking a unique cultural milestone by merging classic animation with modern blockchain technology.
The commemorative set is designed around Disney’s original six characters: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, and Pluto. In a creative design choice, each individual digital pin is shaped to fit as a segment of the American flag. Users who acquire all six character pieces will be able to assemble and display a complete flag within their digital collections.
To initiate the rollout, the Mickey Mouse pin has been made available immediately as a free claim exclusively for Disney+ subscribers. The remaining five character pins will officially launch on 4 July through individual capsules priced at $4.99 each. These subsequent releases will feature two premium aesthetic finishes, titled Lux Marble and Colour Splash, offering variety for collectors. The collaborative release is structured as a limited-time event, with the entire drop scheduled to close on 11 July.
This multi-variant rollout model follows the blueprint of Disney Pinnacle’s previous major digital trade campaign, “The Event Featuring Star Wars”, which ran for seven days in May.
