Keeper Security launches a ServiceNow integration to enable self-service vault management and secure access requests natively.
Identity security solutions provider Keeper Security launched its Keeper Security Workflow application for ServiceNow to streamline enterprise privileged access. This integration enables administrators and security teams to manage vault operations natively within ServiceNow interfaces without disrupting established IT workflows.
This launch connects password security with enterprise automation, moving from isolated administration consoles to unified, governed identity management. It allows IT departments to enforce strict access controls while lowering operational friction for end users requesting sensitive credentials.
The integration addresses the issue of critical security operations stalling in manual deployment cycles, replacing inefficient access request approvals with automated tracking. By resolving these administrative delays, the application helps organisations eliminate compliance gaps and inconsistent enforcement that leave systems vulnerable.
Operating natively through the ServiceNow Store, the platform connects to the identity vault using secure command-line tools to process approvals in real time. It automates permissions for sensitive credentials, handles endpoint access requests, generates temporary record shares, and maintains full audit trails.
To support this deployment, the setup guides administrators through server configuration and approval group assignments without requiring any custom code. This architecture maintains strict zero-knowledge security standards while establishing a direct channel for automated credential handling.
Craig Lurey, CTO and Co-founder of Keeper Security: “The Keeper Commander CLI running in service mode on the MID Server gives ServiceNow a direct, secure channel into the Keeper Vault, enabling real automation without compromising our zero-knowledge architecture.”
