The new ZetaChain validator aims to achieve seamless multi-chain connectivity and widespread adoption of digital assets.
Web3 gaming and open metaverse company Animoca Brands has joined ZetaChain as a validator, bringing together two leaders with different specialisations within the blockchain space.Â
Animoca Brands’ expertise and experience in securing blockchain networks and ZetaChain’s proprietary ZRC-20 token standard for Omnichain Smart Contracts deployment will accelerate the development of innovative omni-chain decentralised apps (dApps) that can manage assets across different blockchains.

The collaboration will allow Animoca Brands portfolio companies access to 3.5 million unique wallets within its ecosystem of dApps that has been nurtured by ZetaChain’s Ecosystem Growth Programme. The initiative commits 5% percent of the total ZETA token supply to support projects through grants, incentives, and community campaigns, with a particular focus on growing ownership, usage, and adoption of Bitcoin.
Animoca Brands has a long-running track record of developing the Web3 gamification and blockchain space. The company is invested in a number of popular Web3 games and metaverse worlds, including the Sandbox open world with its SAND token, Revv motorverse, and the Mobox gaming platform.
