The Web3 Key Fund under the Blockchain for Good Alliance has incubated projects that has helped businesses to use cryptocurrency seamlessly.
Association Blockchain Asia (ABA) has joined the Blockchain for Good Alliance as part of its steering committee, to support blockchain projects for social good.
One of their first initiatives as part of the Blockchain for Good Alliance is the Web3 Key Fund, which
they have raised US$5 million so far. The fund will be used to support selected projects through an incubation program, to strengthen the Web3 ecosystem in the Southeast Asian region.

projects through the BGA incubator programme, we aim to foster a more equitable and

The fund is part of the Blockchain for Good Alliance incubator programme that started in April 2024, which supports projects geared towards social good with strong environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) elements. To date, more than 30 projects have applied, and up to 10 have been curated to go through the incubation programme, receiving US$200,000 in the first year.
“ABA has been a great partner, they have generously shared their industry expertise, and
connections in the regional Web3 space. Having them on board as part of our steering
committee has helped us run the incubator programme with greater clarity, and fast-track other

Moving forward, ABA and BGA will be organising events across Southeast Asia and the Middle
East to extend their reach and explore initiatives to supplement their incubation programme.
