Verification platform Sumsub launched Sumsub Academy, an educational initiative aimed at empowering compliance, risk, and fraud prevention professionals.

According to Sumsub’s Identity Fraud Report 2024, fraud is on the rise with 67% of companies reporting an increase in fraud and 45% noting a rise in fraud sophistication. The average identity fraud
rate more than doubled over the past three years, increasing from 1.1% of all verifications in
2021 to 2.6% in 2024.
